I met Rachel at Austin Area Birthing Center when I was expecting my second child, Kora. I had my first, Laiken, there a few years prior so I felt comfortable there. So, Rachel was the leading midwife of our centering group. We connected and chatted all things motherhood. Come to find out she lives down the street from me in New Braunfels. Talk about fate. So, I did her family photos that fall and then lucky for me, she got pregnant with her 5th child about a year later. I ended up having Kora at home after all and switched care over to San Antonio Nurse Midwife, Nikki Brown. But Rachel and I have stayed connected since meeting at the birthing center! Iâm so grateful to have crossed paths and love documenting her family. They are so relaxed, and her children absolutely adore her, as you can see in the images.
